The pandemic showed us that pathogens can have a huge societal impact, and made society realize that we need to be better prepared for future pandemics. An important part of that preparation is developing solutions to keep the indoor air quality of homes and public spaces, such as schools and hospitals, clean. Such solutions will only be effective if they are also acceptable to stakeholders, such as patients, children, teachers, medical professionals and regulators. This consortium brings together the necessary actors in the knowledge chain to understand the interactions between pathogens and surfaces, translate these concepts into new coatings with antimicrobial properties, test their effectiveness in the laboratory and in test facilities, and ultimately in proof-of-concept situations in the real world. By involving all stakeholders, including patient organizations, coating manufacturers, hospitals, schools and regulatory experts in the "design thinking" process, we will be able to develop new technologies that can be fully embraced by society.

We use state-of-the-art high-speed dispersion equipment to produce materials of the highest quality. Our laboratory can develop new products to meet your specific needs.

Our engineering measurement instruments are calibrated annually. Rigorous tests and checks are performed for each production batch by our laboratory staff.
